Nature is very special in S\u00e6by, where you are close to both a large forest area and child-friendly sandy beaches. The large forest area is called\u00a0S\u00e6byg\u00e5rd Forest<\/strong>\u00a0and is located close to S\u00e6byg\u00e5rd Castle, which the forest is named after. During the summer season, S\u00e6byg\u00e5rd has a cosy caf\u00e9 serving coffee and cake. S\u00e6byg\u00e5rd Forest has a cosy stream and is adorned with beech trees and steep hills that create a very special atmosphere.<\/p><\/div>

In the forest you'll find beautiful and challenging hiking, running and mountain biking trails that will make you sweat while you enjoy the beautiful nature. S\u00e6by also has four clover trails that run through both the town and the forest.\u00a0Clover trails<\/strong>\u00a0range in length from 2.5 km to 21.1 km, so there is a route for every level.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

If you want to spend time in nature but at a slower pace, you can head out in the evening\u00a0bat safari<\/strong>\u00a0just 100 metres away from the square. Here, a new interpretation centre has been established where it is possible to see many of the mysterious bats. The information centre is located here because it is one of the best places in Vendsyssel to see bats.<\/p>

When you take a walk in S\u00e6by town, you'll quickly realise that S\u00e6by has many idyllic places. A walk past\u00a0Algade<\/strong>\u00a0in S\u00e6by is a must, as you'll find cosy old buildings that take you back in time. In your walk through Algade you will pass\u00a0Sct. Mari\u00e6 Church<\/strong>S\u00e6by Church is a must-visit as you enter a beautiful church adorned with frescoes.<\/p>

Just a short walk away from Algade you will find\u00a0The old water mill<\/strong>\u00a0in S\u00e6by, which has served as both a grain mill and to produce electricity. Today, the historic building serves as a private residence and can only be viewed from the outside. A 20-minute drive will take you to yet another historic site, namely\u00a0Voergaard Castle<\/strong>which offers fairy tales and exciting ghost stories. Throughout the year, Voergaard Castle hosts many events, including medieval days and a cosy Christmas market.<\/p>

S\u00e6by also offers exciting things for the older children who are on holiday. I\u00a0S\u00e6by Swimming Pool\u00a0<\/strong>there's a large water slide and large water toys that can provide hours of fun. If you'd rather be outside, you'll find the child-friendly beaches just a short distance from S\u00e6by town centre. If you want to try something different, you can try football golf and see which of you can handle a football better. S\u00e6by also offers an amber tour for children, where a guide will teach you where and how to find amber and guide you along the coast so you can try it yourself - and maybe you'll get lucky.<\/p>

In S\u00e6by you will find many cultural things and there are many\u00a0Artists and craftsmen<\/strong>, located in S\u00e6by. In the small cosy streets you can find galleries with everything from glass art to ceramics.
