Experience Northern Europe's largest aquarium<\/h4>

The North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals offers exciting and educational experiences for the whole family - all year round and in all weathers. Here you can explore 10,000 square metres of indoor and 6,000 square metres of outdoor areas filled with life below sea level.<\/p>

More than 7,000 marine animals<\/h4>

With over 75 aquariums and more than 7,000 fish and marine animals, you can experience everything from curious seals and elegant rays to schooling fish, sharks and - at times - the impressive sunfish. The large Oceanarium contains a whopping 4.5 million litres of seawater and gives you a fantastic sense of the ocean depths.<\/p>

Fun and educational activities<\/h4>

Visit the touch pool where you can touch a starfish or crab and get close to the big sea creatures via the interactive Big Ocean Window screen.
