The beach at Gl. Skagen / Højen / Nordstranden is on the North Sea side in Skagen and offers the most fantastic sunsets, where many people gather every summer evening to applause the sun down.

It is a popular beach, both for walking and swimming. If it is windy, the beach offers a really good walk with a view of the North Sea's big waves.

Although Grenen is referred to as Denmark's northernmost point, it is the North Beach, as Grenen faces east.
