The area around the manor Bangsbo offers some of the region's most magnificent nature - formed during the recent ice age with high hills and deep gorges. From Bangsbo, Vrangbækvej leads into a valley, where Bangsbo Stream has cut into the hills. Here begins Kongestien, which leads up to a large Iron Age burial ground. Kongestien also takes you through Vandværksskoven to Cloostårnet at the top of Flade Bakke, 100 m above sea level. Immediately behind Bangsbo Hovedgård you will find the zoo with fallow deer and red deer. Here is also a large nature playground - a great place to enjoy some food. Also visit Bangsbo Fort and see the large bunker facility from World War II.
